This is actually my old post on my previous lost web. 😀 Well, anway~ I wanna share this one with others again. 🙂
I believe everyone has their own miracle words. Some said that their miracle words are : thank you, I love you, and sorry (well, these three words often appears…)
Why do I post this article? Hmm, this is all about respecting others. We’re living under the same sky in this planet. We’ll be involved each other while working or by something else. We often forget the right of our close friends. Often neglect them by using a justification like “I think she/He’ll be alright” or “She/He will be just fine” or “She/He’s my close friend, She/He’ll understand me completely” Say it so, we have a very close friends, they still have their right to be respected. Due to many justification I have mentioned before, these might to be happen in every friendship :
1. There is a condition when you need a help to your friend who is still in His/Her room. Then you knock the door so loud. You call Him/Her louder and louder. Sometime your friend needs privacy. And it might happen to you, needing privacy, a space to be alone just for once. A very honorable prophet, the best paragon of Muhammad SAW PBUH, gave us an example to ask permission if you are about to get in to somebody’s house. Leave the house after you already knock it three times.
2. Another condition. You always strive (insist maybe? Or force. Mmm, but I’d rather use strive than force. What do u think then???) your friends to understand you. Friendship is not by request, it’s about giving to each other. The more you give others, the more you get from others. A wise man doesn’t lay up treasure. The more he gives to others, the more he has for his own (Lao Tze). If you are trying to understand others, then you’ll be understood as it given to you. Prophet Muhammad PBUH has ever gave us example too. The point of the example that he has gave us is a man’s faith would be categorized as ‘not yet perfect’ if he/she doesn’t love his/her brother/sister as much as he/she loves him/herself.
3. There is a condition which is extremely happened. Forget to say ‘thanks/thank you’ after borrowing something. An expert said (insert link) :
And a person who says “Thank you” to others is loved by people because saying “Thank you” makes other people happy. How about you? If you do a favor for someone and the person doesn’t say “Thank you,” you feel bad, don’t you? But, if he really appreciates it and says “Thank you” over and over again, you feel happy and you think he is a good person.
So let’s look for happiness at any time, in any place, even in bad situation. You can find a lot of happiness. And, don’t be too shy to say “Thank you” to your father, to your mother, to your friends, to everyone and God. If you practice it in your everyday live, you will always be happy. Keep this in mind, “Thank you” is a miracle word which makes you happy and makes others happy.
4. Another simple thing… Saying ‘sorry’ for every mistakes even it’s just a small mistake. Sorry won’t change the past, it can affect the future. A word sorry doesn’t make you inferior, on the contrary, this word makes you generous. Others will be very pleased to hear that. Why don’t you try it? 🙂
5. When you ask for a help to your friend. Please use this word ‘please’. It’s not only about a politeness but also respecting others. Your friend is not your accomplice. Please make others feel free – willingly to help you. You ask Him/Her for a favour, don’t you? So, show a bit politeness to ask even to your close friend.
Well, all your friends deserve to be respected. Let’s try to respect others feeling. 🙂
Teknologi dan Saya

Sungguh mengesankan memang perkembangan teknologi. Dengan adanya teknologi tentu diharapkan dapat mempermudah pekerjaan. Ketika saya masih Sekolah Dasar, televisi berwarna merupakan barang yang illith. Dewasa ini kebutuhan manusia atas komputer yang otomatis berhubungan dengan internet, sangat besar ketergantungannya. Saya sendiri sangat bergantung terhadap komputer meskipun tidak terlalu menguasai tentang teknologi. Setidaknya dengan aktivitas yang saya jalani sekarang ini komputer menjadi gadget yang paling melekat dengan saya.
Ketika saya kuliah sebelumnya meskipun bukan jurusan yang berkaitan dengan ilmu komputer, saya tidak bisa lepas dari yang namanya netbook. Ditambah dengan fasilitas free hotspot di kampus membuat saya betah berjam – jam duduk di kampus hanya sekadar menjelajahi dunia maya. Gadget pertama saya yang masih bertahan hingga sekarang dan masih sering saya ajak travelling kemana pun saya pergi, sudah berusia lebih dari 7 tahun. Netbook yang pada masa itu saya membeli dari hasil menabung sendiri, terbilang mahal harganya dibandingkan sekarang. Karena banyak yang telah memiliki spesifikasi terbaru dari mobile computer yang sekarang banyak beredar.
Hingga sekarang netbook keluaran HP dengan processor core duo saya ini masih bertahan dan terbilang ‘sehat’. Hanya sekali saya membawa ke service center untuk menambah memorinya saja. Ini saya perlukan untuk aktivitas saya yang membutuhkan banyak penggunaan drawing tools, seperti corel, adobe illustrator, photoshop, visio, dan mind map manager untuk desain. Berawal dari hobi hingga saya mempelajari penggunaan drawing tools dan seringkali saya menerima tawaran untuk membuat desain. Terlebih lagi karena usaha saya yang sekarang bergerak di bidang art, maka kebutuhan saya menggunakan drawing tools sangat besar.
Dalam dunia usaha, tidak akan mungkin maju jika tidak membuat inovasi dan memperluas jaringan. Internet sangat membantu dalam aktivitas social networking atau sekadar browsing. Kadang saya gunakan untuk streaming dan download atau ‘blogwalking’ untuk melepas penat dan stress. Di perkuliahan saya sekarang pun membutuhkan netbook untuk online sesuai dengan metode belajarnya online learning.
Mobile device yang menjadi ketergantungan saya selain netbook adalah handphone. Meskipun saya selalu membawa netbook kalau saya bepergian, kalau ada yang lebih praktis untuk diambil manfaatnya, kenapa tidak? Teknologi terbaru dari google android sangat memanjakan saya. Saya memilih Samsung Galaxy Ace untuk kemudahan yang bisa saya dapatkan. Meskipun belum secanggih Samsung Galaxy Note, yang merupakan gadget incaran saya nantinya, Samsung Galaxy Ace (SGA) merupakan middle class smartphone yang cukup menjanjikan. Karena saya juga memiliki hobi fotografi, resolusi kamera SGA dengan 5 mega-pixel cukup memuaskan. Untuk menjelajah di dunia virtual juga menjadi lebih leluasa dan menyenangkan.
Kalau SGA lebih saya pergunakan untuk aktivitas di dunia maya, saya menggunakan handphone lama saya utamanya dalam penggunaan telepon. Sony Ericsson tipe K770i merupakan gadget lama saya yang juga masih bertahan hingga sekarang. Kebiasaan saya dalam memilih gadget adalah mempertimbangkan kamera yang digunakan. Dan menurut saya Sony Ericsson K770i dengan kamera cyber shot cukup memuaskan untuk handphone di kelasnya.
Kebutuhan manusia akan kepuasan terhadap teknologi memang tidak ada batasnya. Sebut saja yang sekarang bersaing untuk mendapatkan pasar diantaranya Blackberry, iPhone, dan android. Menyenangkan memang jika pekerjaan sulit menjadi lebih mudah dikarenakan teknologi. Seyogyanya kita dapat lebih bijaksana dalam memanfaatkannya agar tidak justru dikuasai kepuasan pribadi atas teknologi. Karena ada lebih banyak hal yang bermanfaat yang bias dilakukan dengan teknologi daripada sekedar memuaskan diri dan status sosial.
